Since 2013 Sushil has worked as an environmental activist and has filed many cases in the Hon’ble the National Green Tribunal, High Court. These cases relate to the environmental protection issues including:

• Protection of water bodies in Ghaziabad.
• Illegal extraction of ground water by industries in the district.
• Helping to frame the guidelines on the water regulation.
• Pollution of Yamuna river through the storm water drains.
• Contamination of water bodies and air pollution caused by the brick kiln in Uttar Pradesh.
